No one asked the obvious question.. Why do you need power tools to install a CAI??

Even more so, I am pretty sure he means front bumper COVER, not the actual "bumper" itself.

Yea without the cover, you will be fine.

But x3 on the why do you need the power tools for a CAI?

using a ziptie for the splash shield is a good idea. I need the power tools to cut the plastic to route the filter. I only have a hack saw at the house =(

Keep it under 45, I drove about 2 weeks with it off getting my bumper broke off. 10 minutes is nothing, but you might duck tape it to the diffusion bar where the Styrofoam goes if you are paranoid. I am fairly positive you can not zip tip it to any support that that idea doesn't work. I zip tied it, but that was to replace where the screws were ripped out connecting the splash guard/front fender lining back to the bumper.
Go the speed limit at 40 mph if possible, and I am positive with only 10 minutes, you will have no damage.
But then again maybe AP2 > AP1 !

Jeez.. to cut the plastic all you need is something like a dremel. If it's a dremel, either borrow it from him or just drive your car over there and take off the bumper. Why you don't just do the install at your friend's place makes no sense at all. Just do it all at his house, and avoid the silliness of driving without the bumper cover just so you can put on a CAI..

If I wiped my butt on my shirt, can I stay in canada for more than a month without a work visa?
