I just got back from the mall. I went to the Sharper Image to take a look at the S2000 model they had that someone previously posted. And there it was....the perfect color, inside and out! It looked gorgeous. I was very impressed. The hood, trunk and doors opened. The steering wheel and wheels turned. It had all the proper groves and bumps on the leather inside. The radio door, vents, and HV/AC controls were all there. Polished pedals and shift knob. Everything under the hood looked to be in proper order. Even the exhaust was perfect and all polished underneath. I was very, very impressed for $32.99. They opened the case for me and I examined it even more to find the two flaws with it.

1. I saw this from a distance, but the side marker is kind of just a bump in red on the outside.

And the BIG problem I had was....

2. THE START BUTTON WAS ON THE WRONG SIDE!!! They had all the controls in black on the left and right side. But the BIG RED BUTTON was on the right side! I didn't understand how it could be so detailed, but have one of the things that makes our car standout to the general public be on the wrong side!

Oh well...it still looked great and I am going to get one! I just thought you guys would like to know.

Yeah, thats what the salesman told me. It was only a $6,000 extra and he said it would help the resale value since this was the last year for S2000's.

Did you look on the bottom to see who made it? Bet it's Maisto, and you could get that model a lot cheaper.

What you saw was the Maisto model. You described mine exactly. Here the three flaws the model has. Battery on right side of engine bay...Engine start on right side... and Roof and Hazards are swapped.

The AUTOart brand model has more detail that is more accurate!
It's around $39
