Come on guys, not all kids have their parents pay for their cars. I'm 18 and I'm going to make $80,000 this year.

But yeah, a S/C S2000 is crazy unless you know how to control all that power. A stock S2000 is too fast for a new driver.

I consider myself a very, very good driver for 18 years old. But I'm also not out there street racing and all that.

 

isn't $80,000 Canadian equal to like a lot less in US dollars?

this is off topic but how come GEdrew and Jason00S2000 always have something to say about young kids that have a $30,000 car. Why? there is another post with you guys all you have to say is negative comments. there is no need to call someone a dumbass for having money or any other name calling. i know you are going to have something negative to say about me because i noticed that is the person you are. i guess that i am going to just have to deal with immature board members. you proved it in the other thread

 

ok - just to point it out, but he never said his parents were buying him a car, so everyones comments were based off their assumptions, not necessarily the facts....

its a message board 02spas2k, that means we get to express our opinions...i agree i am being quite harsh in this one and the other thread you were referring to but that doesnt mean I am always like that...i contribute to a lot of topics positively and share my knowledge of certain subjects that I am an expert on and listen and absorb other topics that I am clueless on.... If some kid is gonna come on here being 16 or whatever and tellin people they got a 30K car of course im gonna be harsh on him but hey its a message board...dont take it personal

 

he asked a question. if u don't want to asnwer the question then don't, or u can simply tell him to search it. theres no need to bring his age into this, but i know its hard for some to keep on topic as soon as they see 16 and s2000 together.

 

Its $50,000 USD roughly.

I know thats not a lot. But when you're 18, and have no family to support, it gives you a TON of expendable income.

This sounds to me that you guy's wanted a SC s2000 when you guys were 16. Hell I had mine at 19. It was SC.
