SCC 2F2F Article
Has anyone out there seen the new SCC issue??? Have you flipped through the pages to find the specifications on the cars from 2 Fast 2 Furious? Have you seen the "performance" numbers??? I'm thinking they should call them "lack of performance" numbers! It's simply pathetic. It just goes to show that most people build for show and just can't go.

i read that article 2Rice2Ridiculous in SCC. Actually the fastest car was the Supra, it had some greddy performance products but its 10 yrs old with 90K miles
they said it basically ran like a piece of shit. The Skyline had only 14K miles, most of the cars are stock. They said the S2K was the best (comptech supercharged) and handled the best.

I dont think the real world performance of thoses cars should be much surprise.
They chose some really heavy wheels for most of those cars (none of the rims were really high end superlight versions), and for the movies, the main focus is really all show and no go.
Infact, I'm surpised they even chose to SC the the barbiemobile, unless they plan to show the engine bay on film? And from the magazine photos, I highly doubt it because the rest of the engine looks pretty stock... not even a strut tower brace.
Although, actually knowing that the cars are actually slower than stock may take a bit of fun out of seeing the movie. It would have been nice to see what they could really do with a few cars and million dollar budget.

It's true that all the cars are basically for looks, (if you can even call it that) but why do they need a car that is fast when they already make it look fast? The RX-7 in the first movie was pretty quick though. The owner was from Bosozoku and as far as the other cars, what do you expect from a movie that has the nerve to pop the hood on an Eclipse and get a semi engine shot and have no sign of anything turbo in there.
