I read on s2ki.com that it's a good idea to scotch guard the top. So is there any brand in particular that I should use, or is any type okay?

Just look in the faq section on s2ki.com. There's a section in there about protecting the top. They recommend the Porsche Tequipment protector because it's suppossed to last the longest.

Scotchguard does not work well on PVC! The weave is simulated.

2kTurkey, I think the idea is to prevent stains. Scotchgard is very good at that but I have no idea how compatible it is with our tops.

I read somewhere that Honda retrofitted the hardtops for '00 models because they had problems with leaking . . . so does that mean my '01 might leak? Oh well, it's a good reason to get the Mugen carbon fiber top, then . . .
