Default Scraped front bumper on my new car!

Oh man! I pulled too far up in a parking spot, and the lower part of my front bumper got scraped by the curb! It isn't too bad, but enough to piss me off!! Anybody else have that problem? What does your lower front bumper look like? It seems like it would be tough to keep that looking perfect. Especially if run over pot holes and curbs
Is it common to see scrape marks on the bottom of bumpers on S2k's because it rides so low???
How do I fix it???

Post a pic so we can see how bad it is..... If it's not too bad and the bumper is not damaged an auto body shop should be able to fix for a few hundred.

This is why I have a Coastal Metal bumper protector. It was created by an owner that is a Board Sponors. (Click on the Picture to link to the vendors site)

And he is even offering a 24% Discount until the end of the month (Sept 03) See this thread for details. http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=151938

dont worry, the first time i scraped my bumper i was going crazy, thats why i bought the oem front spoiler, now i dont give a shit, since it only damages the spoiler and thats easily replaceable.

I scraped bottom of frony bumper too, on one of them parking curbs. Not a lot of damage but still ruined the week. 350 bills later and it was fixed at the body shop. If it were to happen again I would think about a cover or spoiler.

I scraped mine a couple of weeks ago and I was so pissed at myself. Fortunately, I didnt do enough damage to warrant any repairs, just a few scrape marks underneath but it still pissed me off. Now I make sure I stay far enough away from curbs so it doesnt happen again and I dont have to beat myself up!

Bad CURB! Bad CURB!

I think we've all hit that curb at some point. Just be more careful now.

I scrape mine once/week on these deep graded entrance/exit points in Miami. Sometimes, they're just to steep to avoid. The Spugen Amuse-style lip doesn't show it because it only scrapes at the bottom of the two side sections (towards the center) so only the ants and I know.
