Always stop early, back in (more clearance in the rear), etc.

Just looked at it with a light.
I tried compound and it did little, noting that the srcrapes went through the paint completly, into the black plastic, and they are numerous and deep.
This will have to be professionally repaired

I have learned a hard lesson, sob

Happens to the best of us. I am always careful to stop short of parking curbs. Parked about a foot away once, only to roll into it when I pushed the clutch in to start the car.

I pulled into my garage one day and ran into my stock exhaust that I had laying on the ground.
Ended up poking a hole into the bottom of the bumper with the exhaust hangers, and scraping it up against the muffler. Oops.
Also managed to push the exhaust into the shelving units I have in the garage.

Total FML moment...

A friend and fellow S2K owner is referring me to a friend in the auto body business. It needs a repaint and the prep that goes long with that.
Can't wait to see how much that will cost

These cars are short. You can fit in a space with a huge gap between the front and the concrete stoppers and still have your back end flush with the cars next to you.

I have a shop here in fredericksburg charging me $282 for...

Fix crack in front bumper for tire.
Touch up the crack area, it will all be covered by the lip anyway
Paint front lip
Paint rear spoiler
Install front lip
Install rear spoiler

Friend of a friend discount!

I just ordered the factory lip tonight.

Should cover the scratches, but now I'll have to be super-duper careful!
