I bought a bunch of heavy rubber mats at Home Depot and layed them outside of my garage. Looked ghetto but no more scrapping

Just get a couple of 2x6's (or wider if it's easier for you) and put them in your garage. This will take care of the scraping and you won't have to modify your garage. Works like a charm!

This is also the quick and dirty method to jack your car up if you don't have a low profile jack that fits under the center jack point.

Build some ramps to extend further in to the street. Keep the ramps in the garage. Basically, this is what the poster above is saying. Think about how a tow truck gets low cars on to the bed of the truck.

I would do the rubber mats. That should do the trick. Maybe one like an 1" thick.

Enter your garage by driving in and out at an angle!

Looking at the pictures I'm quite surprised that it isn't an option actually....I would say you could almost drive in perpendicular to the garage entrance since it's not a single garage unless I'm missing something...

Yep same opinion here.
I requires a little bit of skill though
But I agree...could evetually be hard on the clutch and quite uncomfortable when you have to do it all the time especially if there is a 2nd car in the garage
