Default Scratches on rubber trim?

Hey, i've noticed a few minor stratches on the rubber trim at the base of the drivers side window. Is there anything that will help get this out? If not, how much does it cost to replace, and how hard is it? Thanks

J

I'd get this at an office store? Anyone tried this before?

If the scratches are minor, you might try some 303 on the rubber part to see if it helped. 303 is also useful on plastic interior parts, and can be used to soften the plastic rear window (must be cleaned off afterward with Plexus).

Hope this helps,
Richard

Also, BMW sells a product called 'Gummiflege' or something like that. If you pronounce it that way the parts guy should know what you mean. It works very well for rejuvinating dried rubber parts and maintaining nondried parts as well. Dunno if it will ge the scratches out, but it works well on the rubber without ruining other parts or paint.

My car is missing the passenger-side door so I welded in some 2in round tubing. I wouldn't even notice something as minor as a weatherstripping scratch.
