Default Screwed over by Work Wheels

So I finally decided on a set of wheels. I ordered Work Emotion Cr Kais from a site sponsor, and authorized distibutor. I asked for 17x8 +47 front and 17x9 +38 rear, as I have ASM over fenders. They arrived today, and I received the fronts as ordered, and 17x9 +44 rears. I called the shop where I ordered from, and they told me they ordered as I had asked (and I believe them). They said Work assumed I wanted +44, even though the invoice said +38.

They said +38 would take several weeks, and they never stocked this size, even though they told the shop they had them coming in the following week. As I need new rims in order to drive my car, I am not going to wait 2 months for these to come in. Also if I wanted these sizes, I could have easily found them used.

Work began to tell me that I should keep this size, and then switched to tell me I should take the +28 they have in stock. I said I have ASM flares, and they said the car can take up to a 9.5 +10, which we all know is untrue. They offered me a "generous" deal of 5% off the purchase if I kept the size I didn't want, or I could keep these at full price, and pay $275/ each for the proper size when they come in. I'm very frustrated here by this poor customer service (on Work's part). Now I might get RPF1's through Tirerack, but I already bought new tires, so I'll lose out on $100 to get them mounted, plus I already purchased lug nuts (which come free with the RPF1s).

5mm spacers? Maybe Work or the dealer would even be willing to cover their cost.
