The $100 more to have them remounted after you realize they screwed it up?

Get what you want...Or else you'll always have that "empty" feeling. Plus, you're the customer...Your choice. Get what you ordered(raise a little hell, or have the shop raise it for you). This is rediculous...If it was me and they started telling me this "blitter blatter" when I came in then I would just reply..."How is this my problem?!! Get ahold of Work and get it fixed...Why should I suffer on account of somebody elses screw up!!!" Also have the shop and/or work reimburse you for the delay and screw up!!!

This is pissing me off and it didn't even happen to me!!!

Get what you wanted in the first place. It's tough being a hard a$$ to the shop if they have been good to you, but in the end, you are the customer and should get what you paid for. The waiting sucks, but I think you'll be happier in the end. Two month isn't that long, especially being winter and all.

Thanks guys. I think that AKH Trading- Work's distributor, should pay to have these flown in from Japan, instead of waiting weekes for these to travel via ocean container. This should be the very least. I am contemplating if the +28 they have in stock will fit, but I don't want to have any headaches. The ASM flare only adds +20 mm (not + 25) and that's if the lip (the part you would roll if it was metal is completely trimmed off.

that is a load of bull man.

like someone mentioned though, your easiest solution might just be a 5 mm spacer making it +39 offset.

5mm spacers? Maybe Work or the dealer would even be willing to cover their cost.
And wheel studs? I would not go more than 3mm without wheel studs. IMO you should get what you ordered, fax them the order form that says +38 and tell them to shove it.

Get what you ordered, whatever it takes. If you have to, borrow stock wheels from another owner so you're not put into a position of "I need rims to drive on" because that means they get to charge you for the privilige of changing new rims into used rims. That's what they want. It gives them a reason to force you to buy two more wheels than you'd planned.

Tell them to stuff their incorrect rims and the extra $275 and you'll take what you ordered and pay mo more than you were supposed to.

Why would you want to pay $550 just to buy a set of incorrect wheels to hold up the ass end of your car while Work gets their shit together?

Don't settle for what they want to sell you just because it's in stock.

Don't settle for what they want to sell you just because they think they know your car and your mods better than you.

If they can't give you want you want in a timely manner or compensate you for the bait-and-switch and run-around they've given you, then send the wheels back to them, get your money back, and shop elsewhere.

The easiest way to make your opinion known to a company is to take your money elsewhere. Number two is to get other people to take their money elsewhere as well

It ain't their fault you bought tires from store B and now they don't fit, you are simply stuck with a supplier that cannot deliver in the timeframe that you need. It is your responsibility to make sure you get what you ordered. It is not their responsibility to tell you when and where to buy your tires. Best you can do is demand a full refund by returning the goods. What is with this generation that requires so much spoonfeeding??????? The supplier gave you the wrong stuff and they suck for that, but that is all. The responses I hear on this thread are from a bunch of generation spoonfeedme, I need I need I need. JMO.
