I don't think the torque wrenches are on sale but if you join the "Craftsman Club" you can get 10% off.

may not be exact, but comparable. they exchanged craftsmans screwdrivers with worn/abused blades for me, no problem!
In case anyone is curious, Danaher has made the Craftsman hand tools since the mid-90's. Stanley made the Craftsman line before that.

Stanley makes the Husky line, but I believe they're made overseas now.

I got a new 1/2" Pittsburgh torque wrench with case off ebay for about $20. Had it for several years, mainly to torque lug nuts and bolts. No problems so far, and the price was right!

One of the things that should be kept in mind about Craftsman tools, I think, is that you are actually paying for the lifetime warranty up front. Craftsman tools are priced about 15 % to 25% higher then other tools of the same quality.

That is why they are such a good deal when they are on sale. On sale Craftsman tools are cheaper then others of the same quality level, reasonable quality and guaranteed for life. On sale they are hard to beat.

Also, consider joining the "Craftsman Club" as I mentioned earlier. It costs nothing to join, and membership entitles you to discounts (over and above the sale price) at certain times during the year. Additionally, Sears will send you special sale fliers and notify you when there is a "Club" discount. The application can be had in the hardware/tool department of any Sears store or any Sears Hardware Store.

In the 25 to 30 years that I have been using Craftsman Tools I have been satisfied with them.
