i'm intalling a harness for track days, and i was wondering if there is a way to turn off the seat belt warning light when the stock belt is not clipped in. thanks.

On most cars, there is a wiring harness under the seat that must be unplugged when removing the seat. Unplug that and see if that defeats it.
