I sent a tweet at McGard asking if they can make more as our contact has gone quiet. They replied and said they'll look in to it on Monday.
Keep us posted please! Looking for seat locks for my new-to-me '06. Thanks.
If they come back in the affirm I'll have to pass it off to someone to deal with, I'm new on here and in the UK so can't organise it all properly. Hopefully they can do it though.

What about these Torx bolts? I'm not sure if they're strong enough, since I noticed grading systems and specs vary for 10.9 grade between different manufacturers. But, these appear to be made for the front strut tower braces of a BMW..so I bet they would be strong enough, especially if they're used for that.

Order part 40M820-B

The set comes with 4 security bolts and the key, enough to do the 4 bolts on the front of the seat rails. They're made from strong steel and are 20mm long, which goes all the way through the threads in the chassis. If you're worried about the length you can get the 30mm version, which stick out about 14mm past the chassis threads.

Dude... I hope you're joking. Those are for attaching lights to a jeep or truck. No way in HELL they'd secure a seat in an accident. Just because it physically fits doesn't mean it's the right fastener for the job.

Indeed, those are made from Stainless Steel, not a high strength material.

Correct, they were originally advertised as Grade 8 which would have made them strong enough for our application. But they are actually coated stainless steel, which makes them around Grade 2, not strong enough.

Here's another one, grade 8.8. Cut it down since it's long.

Hey, Guys- I'm not much help in finding another source, but I'm doing better and may be back for another round of original Kodokan Seat Locks.

I had some surgery and recouping time, but I may be able to come back with more Seat Locks. Have to wait on the powers that be to decide.

Sorry I had to bail out for a while, but I've been dealing with these Seat Locks since 2002 and once in a while real life takes precedence over my internet life.

Get well my good man. Real life is always much more important than something trivial such as seat locks and internet life.
