Default Seat Weights?

I have searched S2ki and dug through some pages and no listed weights. Can not find much info at a few retailers... Anyone have a list?

I found a Sparco PDF with seat weights... I like the Roadsters at 16 lbs...

Anyone have a guide to Recaro or Bride Seat weights?

How much do Stock seats weight? 35 or 45 lbs?

Thanx...

I don't have the exact figs, but the Recaro SPG and the Sparco Roadsters are about 11lbs each. All the Brides I looked at were heavier than stock.

Keep in mind that you're going to have to find lightweight sliders as well--you can get by with custom fixed mounts that weigh very little on the passenger side, but if anyone else (like a fat tire guy or a short alignment monkey) will ever have to drive the car, having adjustability is a good thing. Taitec rails work well, but they weigh more than the seat.

All in all, you'll save about 30 lbs total if you replace both stock seats with SPG / Taitec combo.

Thanx, so basically custom sliders for the driver will kill some weight savings.

Can anyone verify the stock seat and or rail weight?

Here is the link for Sparco Specs..
