Seatbelt squeek
I know a roadster is not the quietest car out there, but my seatbelt rubs against the leather seatback and it creates this awfully annoying squeeking sound everytime I move a little in my seat. Suggestions on a safe way to get rid of this? Thanx all.
I had the same squeek, it was driving me crazy. I tried the felt under the plastic bracket, but that didn't stop it. I finally narrowed it down to the seatbelt rubbing on the seat. So, I broke out the Velcro (again) and applied a small strip of the furry Velcro to the seat, right where the belt was touching. It eliminated the squeek completely.
I have the red leather int too and the same problem. I just temporarily put a piece of clear tape there until I come up with a solution. I don't really want to "glue" anything down to the seat that may let the rest of the seat fade differently or anything.
Have even thought about asking the dealer about it. This clearly is a design flaw, and should be addressed by Honda, as over time this would wear through the leather.

Here are some pics of the furry Velcro. I used the self-adhesive kind, so if I can remove it if I need to. Also included are pics of the 2 other spots where I used Velcro, to prevent the keys from rattling on the steering column and on the passenger side to prevent the seatbelt from knocking against the panel. I trimmed the corners of the Velcro into a round shape with scissors. The Velcro is almost invisible in real life, the photos focus on it much more than you normally see. The rattles/squeeks were driving me nuts, so a little Velcro here and there is worth it to quiet things down.
