Default Seatbelt Vibration

Just bought an 04 and am loving it. One annoying thing about the car though is that the passenger seat belt is always vibrating against the door when there is no passenger in the car. I tried to put it up over the shoulder which helps some, but there is still vibration. Is there any way I can place the seat belt so it doesn't rattle, or am I the only one with this problem? Thanks.

do you have the boot on the car? (it rattles, and we have that fix)

I noticed the same problem over the weekend. It was my first road trip, and the annoying vibration tried to ruin it. I have found two solutions thus far: turn up the radio volume or fiddle with the position of the seatbelt. Anyone else notice this? Are there better solutions out there?

I've had that exact problem since the day I got my S. I have found that if you move it all the way to the top of the seat and flip it up so the metal part is pointing kinda back & up. It does not rattle against the side for me that way.

On that note, I have noticed that the spot where the belt normally rattles is starting to get a notch in the plastic. That I find really annoying.

Same problem, same solution as Runaround.

Other solution, stay in VTEC, you won't hear or notice it!

I've seen some owners take the buckle, face it toward the back of the car, and stick it in the black guide on the seat that the belt goes thru. Works really well actually, and you don't have to drive around with a "ghost" for a passenger when the belt is latched and nobody is there.

Give it a try.

glad to know I am not the only one having this issue...

I was thinking maybe the seatbealt spring is not as strong on the passenger side as on the drivers side.

Buy a seat belt pad and the rattle will be gone. If you are worried about the rice effect, get a plain black one with no writing.
