I drove the S for 13 hours (St. Louis to Austin) a couple of weeks ago. Long, boring drive, as usual, but no problems with the seats. If it weren't so expensive, I'd be interested in switching to get something sportier (ie. sparco's or recaro's).

Yeah...problem is that I don't have $700 to toss around...ok, I do, but I have a stereo system to build too

Know anyone who would make inexpensive seat covers in that style? (Out of the same alacantra, no less?)

my family owns both a civic si and a s2000 and i can't complain about either of them. The s2000 seats work great for me, just today i went out for 5 hours with my dad and came back fine. the si seats are great too, lots of support and grip in the corners. However, given the already high quality of the s2000 seats, i dont know if there would be much, if any difference

I've been living with two herniated discs for about 15 years, and I've found these to be the only car seats I can drive in for more than 2 hours without back discomfort. I love them.

I have both these cars, I believe the SiR (Si for the Americans ) seats are shorter. I will check tomorrow for you.

Heated seats would be a nice upgrade, but other than that I find them very comfortable and supportive.

I just picked these up about a month ago. They're Recaro SRD (black w/ double red stitching like the jdm versions, and hella comfortable and snug. They're only $450 a seat.

i believe the SI seats are higher than the s2k seats. this may become a prob since the s2k steering wheel does not tilt...
