If Honda would just make these seats an option, I could save 20% on my next s2000 purchase!

Wow, $1000 for each leather cover, back and bottom, that's expensive.

To put it another way:

At these prices, there's a lot of play room for knockoffs. Too bad our cars have too small a market for 3rd party leather to appear. Though I thought Rick's and one other person were planning on making replacement leather for the seats.

So, how about the 2005 NSX? Think they have nicer seats/leather? I found out how much those cost too.

Honda sells these seats as complete assemblies - or you can buy them piecemeal too:

Passenger seat: $3646.93
Driver's seat: $3879.34

Total: $7526.27 assembled ($7895.34 if parts bought seperately w/o labor)

Remember these have nicer leather and are also power seats. They are also come fully assembled. I'm not claiming they fit in an S2000. This is just for comparison and after figuring in the labor to put together the S2000 seats, they probably wind up costing about the same.
