Wow...I've been on this forum going on three years and it's funny how we still have this same conversation every so often. Is the compartment really that secret? No one ever showed me. It just seemed so natural to have a compartment there and my tactile instincts just led me to it.

I just found it a week ago after seeing some pix of a Japanese S2K. At first I looked at mine and thought.. damn, this one doesn't open like the Japanese one...

lol

I keep expecting to find a compartment on that padded elbow rest area between the seats. You know.. where most cars have a compartment.

I never read my manual except for how to take care of the top and get it up and down. I always wanted a place to put my other crap.

Managed to find a (rather small) pic of the other secret compartment in use. That's a CD changer installed in there.

I had my car 2 years before I found it. Never even thought of looking there. Last week when I was at the Dragon, another S2ki owner saw mine and thought that it was a mod. LOL!
