The picture shown on this thread is a MY04. The pre-04's have a single cup holder. Both are pretty much useless for anything more than the coke can you see in the picture. I guess it's better than nothing but so far, the most I've carried in my S2000 is a bottle of water, which fits BTW.

To Rio S2k, I've had my GPW for 1.5 months now and have just over 2k miles on it. So far, no dings or dents (heavying knocking on wood! ).

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

I found the "secret compartment" the 2nd day I had the car (didn't do much but drive the first day) but it took me a few weeks to notice that cupholder tab. As it turns out, it's pretty useless for holding anything over the size of a 12oz can. And of course you also have the problem that anything even semi-tall in that cup holder will get in the way of your shifting.

I just don't put open drinks in my car at all.

dlq04 posted a how-to for this mod a while back - it is very easy and useful - places bottles right at arm's reach past the shifter and out of your arm's way - much better than the stock cup holder. I have this in my car - its nice b/c it collapses when not in use.

I found that thing the first time I put a cup in there. I looked at the horrible cup holder design and realized they HAD to put a pop-out support in there otherwise the front cup holder would be useless..
