Passengers suck all of the fun out of driving. They cause weight to increase, fuel efficiency to decrease, want you to drive them to the airport, pick them and their eight friends up, and just suck.
Both of my cars are two seaters, and I love it. Anytime more than one of my friends wants to get together, I can sit back and relax in someone else's car and save my gas, lol.
But yeah- OP, buyer's remorse is a bitch. All I can tell you is that this car is a frickin' blast if you stop trying to be practical, and start focusing on having fun. Some people like A to B transportation, but some of us want to have some fun in between those points....

This bit about internal mental nightmares concerning buying an impractical car are bogus. If you aren't all for owning the S2000 get rid of it and sleep better at night.

what would you need more than 2 seats for with no family? the only excuse i want to hear is.

"me and my girlfriend like to bring home girls"

that is the only acceptable response as far as im concerned

Dating twins would also qualify.

I'll pay for your beater car if you post the videos online....

Get a beater. I have a beater for my practical needs and the S for whenever. The S would be a tough daily car for me, not because of the space issues, I'd just hate driving it to work and leaving it parked where it could get marred.
