selling my 04
Just wondering. I had the whole factory package put in, but are the lip, sidestrakes, and spoiler added into the value of the car when calculating it? I am using edmunds as a guide for value of the car since KBB always gives a higher number. I want to sell it reasonably to the buyer without too much of a loss.
fyi, it's an 04 with 28,030 miles. thinking of asking for $21,300.
what do u guys think?

i say just sell the stuff seperately, shouldnt be that hard. it all depends really on the buyer, if its worth it to them they will pay money for it. if its on the car and they just want a bone stock s2000 then they wouldnt want to pay extra for it.
I doubt those things are going to make any difference in the selling price. I'd try to find a local w/ a berlina. They might be willing to buy the lip, strakes, and swap the trunk w/ you for a couple hundred bucks.

why not just keep it on? wouldn't the rear spoiler and side strakes leave holes behind?
Both require drilling! You are better off leaving them.

This is awfully close to a for sale thread -
in S2000 Talk. It is okay for a guest to sell a car on S2Ki (in the Cars For Sale section), but if you start parting anything out you're going to need a membership to this site.
Try to keep this thread purely on the advice subject - if it moves anywhere closer to selling, it is going in the dumpster.
