I have owned my s2000 for about a year now and have decided i am going to sell her. reason being is, i live in ohio and have to commute 50 miles to school, and with a winter coming i need a more all year round car (i could also use a couple more seats). I am serously considering buying a mazdaspeed 3 instead. ALthough the s2000 was a great car i will enjoy the more spacious seating and practicality, and hopefully have more than 1 cup holder. Any inputs on the mazda?

 

Yeah my friend has the speed3 and likes it a lot, but what about the evo or sti? too much money? 4 doors and all wheel drive for those winters. And also very high in performance.

 

Sorry to hear, it's going to be hard finding a car that doesn't feel like a boat after the S.

 

^or find something with a better transmission. i've driven my friends' 335, 370z, g37, wrx, and ALL of them couldn't compare to the s2k trans, and the clutch travel was too long. i guess that's the price you have to pay to drive something else.

 

does it snow where you live? If so i'd recommend getting something with AWD like a WRX or STI.. esp the wagon, you get the utility and the AWD is really fun in the snow..

 

Speed3's are a blast. I almost picked one up when I bought the Z.

 

yea you are probably better off with different car, i commute about 60 miles on my CR and this is my daily.... i think you dont love your S as much

 

so lucky we don't have the winters that you all have in the states, get to drive the S year round.

 

dont do it...buy and EVO or STi
