I've owned an S for a little more than 6 months and I'm thinking I'd like to keep it until I'm too feeble to drive, until something breaks that can't be fixed, or it's physically/finacially impossible for me. Some have gotten the torque, power and rumble lust of larger displacement and moved on, or just have seen something they think is 'sweeter'. Some get tired of any car after 2 or 3 years.

In any case, if at one time you drove an S2K and then it was sold, after a few months or years, how did you feel about your time driving the S? Pleased you moved on, regretted having sold your S, eventually bought one again, or ???

 

If I ever sell my s, it'll be because I'm getting a Elise or a nsx.

It's cheap enough that I can pay it off soon and get a beater.
Unless I get unemployed, I don't think I would need to get rid of it financial reasons

The only possible thing would be kids but I can always buy a cheap beater.

 

Will only sell the S for threee reasons

1) Lose my job and it's the last tangible thing I own.
2) I can finally, reasonably afford a GTR (and then I'd probably still keep the S )
3) To buy another S.

 

even if i win the lotto im still keeping the S.

 

I would rather eat ramen and wear salavation army clothes than sell my S.

After seeing the poll u have your answer ... best car i've ever owned ...hands down and i'm sure many would agree ...the S is special in many ways there is nothing like it anywhere at any price ...thats why to me my S is priceless !!!

 

I just traded my S for a 2011 STI. i had to because i am moving to nebraska and i will need something that wont wreck me.

 

You must keep in mind that you can always put the kids up for adoption.

Sold my AP1, missed it dearly, bought the last brand new AP2 in town. Cosmic forces will have to be involved for me to let go of this one.
