Selling stook tomorrow for $25K US
Ugg, I just got my new insurance quote for New Jersey. It's too high for me to afford, so I'm selling the car. It only has 12,000 miles and i'm turning it in to avoid wasting time. Take care all!
Sorry to see you lose it over insurance but if you get another car is really going to be that much left? If you bought a 33k car, can you really save that much more on your insurance? If I were to sell my stook and buy a Accord, I would only save myself about 100 bucks per 6 months. I think 200 bucks a year for a stook is worth it
Anyways best of luck and sorry to hear you are selling it.

One other question. Can you not get more than 25k for a stook with only 12k miles? I have seen them locally for over 30k for ones with similar miles... Kelly's blue book lists the resale value at 38k. I realize that is out of whack because of some of the price gouging that has happened in the past but 25 seems low.
Good Luck..

Well, I'm trying to be realistic since the car has some minor repaint. The job was very good but not flawless. All the paint matches, but there is some "roughness" along the insides of the panels. I'm actually selling it for 23K just to get it off my hands.
Most insurance companies I looked at were around the same price. I happen to work for an acura dealer, so I'll have the luck of having a car for 2.5% over invoice minus $350 a month. This includes full insurance coverage, basically solving my financial problem. I'm not starving by any means, but I'm trying to avoid damage before it starts. I'm sure everyone understands!
Let me know when it's time to see your cars. I will be in the market again in two years. =) email me @ mistersleepy@aol.com It's pretty easy to remember. Take care!
My best 1/4 mile run ever was a 13.8 at 103.2
0-60 was 5.3
My, I will miss this car.

Brian, if you're in the area, take it off my hands! $23K ain't bad, is it? I'm firm on that pathetic price though. =)
