Sequential shifter...WHY NOT DAMN IT!!
Question: IN F1, i thought that they used the paddles to upshift and that downshift was auto? I think the weber is the only one that uses a clutch to downshift? Am i off or mistaken, I can get confused easiy.

Automatic trannies were allowed in F1 beginning this season. Did you guys see the in-car footage in the last race? The Renaults were fully automatic. Don't know about the rest of the teams.
Jschmidt, Thanks for clearing up the terms. A true sequential shift as on non F1 race cars and bikes are MECHANICAL, and it has a clutch. I only use the clutch only at starts -- off the throttle for upshifts and downshifts.
