Sequential shifter...WHY NOT DAMN IT!!
Ok, so this S2K car is supposed to embody the F1 car right? Well, ALL F1 cars have sequetial shifters and In the "OLD" design drawings of the car it looked like it did too. Why Honda...WHY? Did they take it out? I mean even the little 2002 MR2 Spyder has a "TRUE" sequetial shifter in it; pretty damn cool, and I would think the S2000 would too. Don't get me wrong I love 6 speeds
and I know whithout the clutch you can't rev the engine up some and obtain MORE horsepower at the Highr RPM levels but a Sequentiaal shifter would be damn cool...What Do YOU think?
Fragmented...Sorry!

If they couldn't even get a semi seq shifter in the Prelude and TL right, what makes you think the can get a tru seq shifter right.
Give it a couple years and most of the top sports cars will have the true seq shifter option.
Just out of curiousity, is the SMG M3 faster than the normal MT?

i dont know how the difference would be on the s2000. but if you compare a sportshift prelude to the 5speed, the sport shift is 1 second slower in the 1/4. thats somthing that id rather not have. even if they did have the option with this car i still wouldnt take it.
You can't really compare the Prelude/TL/CL, because the sportshift in that is a semi-manually controlled AUTOMATIC transmission. A true sequential manual gearbox, like the M3, Ferrari 360, and yes even the Toyota MR-2 Spyder, is a MANUAL transimission, complete with clutch.

oh, and its only a $989 option...
