As you all know I was at my dealer today finalizing my order.

Well it turns out the service manager has an S2000 and has done several mods to it. The word is a supercharger is next.

You think this might affect whether a dealership would warranty a car with a supercharger mod if the service manager himself has the same mod on his car?

Just some food for thought!

 

Since the car is warranted by Honda and not the dealer, it probably makes little difference what the service mgr. does.

 

It will definitly make it easier...for him. For anyone else? Probably not unless you really become buddy buddy.

I'm taking my wifes Insight in Monday for its 7500 mile service. Thought I'd meet him then and ask some questions.

I guess what I was thinking related to the mods on his car was he may very well be more sympathetic to problems with a moded car and not jump to conclusions about the mods being the problem. I guess I thought the service manager had the final say about warranty repairs.

 

Mack, Ron is a hellavu guy! I don't think he gets on the net much though. His S has EVERY mod RM offers short of the antenna. You should take a look at it while you are there - if he drove it. He doesn't get it out much.
