We changed the rears at 17K, could have gone longer but heard too many horror stories and decided not to wait.

The fronts are still fine at 29K. I'd say by the middle of next summer, we'll be replacing all four.

They only lasted about 6-7K, so be sure you are aligned for maximum life....the S2000 suspension is sensitive.
I had my car aligned for maximum handling not tire life. I usually got between 3000 and 5000 out of my rear tires and 4500 to 5500 out of my fronts. The last full year I owned it I drove it less than 10,000 miles and spent over $2,700 on track and street tires. All 16 inch tires BTW.

I change mine every other month. I drive about 100 miles a day though.

I was feeling some guilt at wearing out left front in two track days, several autocross', and 7500 mi.. No I dont feel nearly as bad. The rears are still fine. Note to self; rotate tires after track days.

I won't argue your first point. But you never had to deal with the SO-2s.
Sure, provoke me over here in Chazmo's forum where I can't say nothin'.

I just picked up another set of OEM rears (slightly used) which should last until the fronts wear out, but I need to start doing some research for my next set. This could take months.

I average 10k miles when I used S02s, nothing like aggressive driving
