You may want to consider "Crank Vents" as well. These area supposed to help significantly with oil consumption issues on the 2.0l models.

Back up a minute. When reading the dipstick it is supposed to be midway in the "x" area. Not to the top of the "x" area. Sounds like it's being over filled. Double check the owners manual.
it's true that the amount of oil honda recommends (around 5.1 quarts i believe) will land you somewhere in the mid-range of the X's on the dipstick, but it's my understanding that anywhere along the X's between the low and high mark is an acceptable oil level.

My car was using up about a quart every 1K miles with Mobil 1. I switched to Castrol Synthetic and after about 500 miles, I detect very little if any oil loss. This with some pretty aggressive driving....try a switch.

My 2002 S2000 seems to be doing the same thing yours is.. and i have used mobil 1 fully synthetic 10-30 since i got the car *previous owner used castrol* and ive had it for about 6 months and have put 10k on it already... i cant find any leaks and im not smoking either.. i was told it could be the piston rings.. and the dealer tried to sell me a whole new motor *does the jack off movement* screw them... but yeah ive been dumping bunch of money into my car oil wise..

S-Turn AP1 how much were you using before the switch?

also where did you order these supra PCV valves? Apparently they perform the same function as the krank vents..

and as 1001k and others have said, it seems that castrol synthetic burns less than mobil 1 so it will be the next synthetic oil i try.

and VegasS2k, maybe it could be that the piston rings in both our cars have not seated properly as the previous owners switched to synthetic too early on in the motors life. How many miles is your s2k at right now and are you planning on switching to dino oil for your next change to see if it helps??

alright... these are my OPINIONS...take them for what they are worth....

read this https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=535199

my new rule number 1 for honda owners) KICK ALL MOBIL 1 oils to the curb. (NEVER USE THEM, EVER)... use amsoil atm.

my ap1 drank oil like a joker... and we found out later the problem was coming from the 4th cylinder.... same as what this kid is sayin.. could be valve guides, retainers, piston rings... etc.

just get a new head and be done with it!!!
