Oh I know.

I definately understand why older people think that.

Because we tend to do dumb things, myself included

Yeah case in point. My point is I didnt appreciate some young kid tell me that my mom and dad purchased my S for me when in reality I served 5 years in the US Navy as a Construction Engineer. I got my S as a present to myself after spending alot of time in Iraq. I have been out since December 19 2005. I use the benefits that I earned to pay for school and to make the most of my future. These kids are the same people that recieve government funding to pay for school and they dont want to be there to begin with and their grades show that for sure. What a waste of tax dollars. They always make excuses that include the hood they are from. My parents came to America from Thailand with a couple hundred dollars in their pocket, education and a drive to build a family. They are very well off today so the whole hood excuse goes out the window in my view. Some people like to blame everyone else for their own poverty and misfortune when they have a opportunity to change their own life and dont take advantage of it. Again their grades show that. When they start talking.. I put them in their spot because thats where they belong with the attitude they present me with.
thailand!! hahaha... my parents are from loas!! worked their asses off also through schooling and i'm proud of that!! now we own a commercial shopping center.

but hey, i work hard for my car, even though i didnt serve i'm right along side u to say that we got it because we payed/earned for it!

These talks don't serve any purpose.

My friends and I smack talk at times about our cars, but we all know we are just joking around. This particular situations sounds way too serious and everyone's getting way too worked up ...

Come join us in Wash & Wax! It's become my mainstay here on the forums and I learn a lot about car care.
