Share your experiences of cars trying to drive
--Today while driving to work I was just driving normal, and this Toyota Prius was practically flooring it from light to light. And then proceeded to catch the on ramp at like 80-90 mph.
I guess it could of been someone really late for work, but it seemed like they were trying to prove something. I just LOL'ed at them.
--When I was coming back from out to lunch I pull up to the left turn lane behind a mini cooper S and the guy kept looking at me in his rearview mirror. As the light changed he made the turn normal, and then what looked like redlined every gear or smashed the gas in automatic (not sure what he had).
In both cases I didn't give chase or race, I just LOL'ed. I mean I know it might be cool everyonce and awhile to show off if your car has power, but these cars didn't. hahha...
Share your stories. I don't really want to hear street racing stories or kills, but just people trying to drive fast or aggressive when they see your s2k or around or s2k.
Should be good LOL's especially if they're slow cars to begin with!

i bet a good majority of the people think driving with the top down is showing off, but i do it to enjoy the car =]

I've noticed this too.
I have this suspicion that people who drive slower cars feel like they've got something to prove, especially to a slick red convertible I'm sure that the loud engine doesn't help, either. Just pushing 4-5k sounds like a conventional engine's redline.

They were probably just driving faster than you. In my Fit, I am constantly driving faster than everyone else for some odd reason. So people may think I'm trying to prove something but I'm just trying to get to my destination. Usually I'm not even speeding.

I get that a lot.

It seems like every time I'm out driving my S2000, cars are always driving "fast and aggressive" around it.
As seen here.
