I had a guy in a taxi say "wanna run em?" at a stop light

I laughed and said no thanks - he tore off

Oh god, if I had a nickel for every time I saw a minivan trying to pass me up on the highway...

I'm usually (and luckily) ignored...I think the FMIC scares them off; they most just stare

I get a lot of that. I have the CR aero kit on -- and nothing else, no exhaust, no aftermarket wheels, nothing.

I've gotten anything from DC2Rs, to new CTRs, to VW Golf R32s to 350Zs, to E46 M3s, to the new 997s ... doing that to me. Would see them randomly rev next to me and tailgate me for a while on the highway or up some winding road.

I see E46 M3s doing that to me the most. Maybe cuz I see like 10 of them a day or something. I even had a E92 M3 doing that to me. I don't understand why ... I mean, those cars will "beat" mine in any condition by miles. Why would they want to pick on little kids like the S? I have no idea ...

I'm used to it now ...

I was in a double left turn lane at a red light alongside a BMW Z4. It turns green and this guy (looked like early 20's) revs it up and just floors it on the turn. Not 2 or 3 seconds later he runs right into backed up traffic. I then come up alongside him and just shake my head at him. I could see the guy's face just light up red haha.

But most of the time I get driven around with civic's and rsx's. But that's just a given.

i've never noticed it, then again I don't pay much attention to that. if a car has a nice exhaust they will usually floor it next to me, but that is just common courtesy.... assuming you are into sports cars/muscle cars whatever, it's just logical that you would want to hear their exhaust... at least I know i do.

I was driving to work, in the rain, surrounded by minivans, and had a red SRT-4 wanting to run me. I didn't, and he tore off and gave me the thumbs down out his window.
It seems like I mostly get the fly-by and cut-off move by guys in 4 doors with their family in the car.
The worst I can remeber was having a F-150 Lightning pace me for a couple of miles. His exhaust came out the right side in front of his rear wheel, and was SO annoyingly loud. I mean, come on, my wife and I are just out for a pleasant evening drive. Go find somebody else to annoy/race.

I live out in the country where everyone thinks they have the baddest truck, I've been completely surprised a couple times as guys in lifted Super Duty's want to run me. I think basically just to see what'll happen. I don't do it, seems too wacky to me. I was coming home one day and got behind a panel van, I went to pass him and he sped up, I looked over at the driver and he and his buddy were laughing they're butts off, he was rocking in his seat like he was trying to make the van go faster. They were just having fun in the work truck, they saw me coming and I guess they figured they'd see how fast I was going to go. I thought it was funny too after getting a good look at them, a couple Mexican dudes doing a contract out in the country. They were just having a good laugh and knew it was for S's & G's.

Then you get the guys who just have an attitude toward anyone w/a nice car........

Funniest one I ever had, back in 2002 when my car was new. Wife and I are driving with the top down, and pull up to a stop light. A car pulls up next to us and revs its engine twice. I look over, and it's 5 or 6 teenage guys piled into a Pontiac Bonneville.
