..oic .. autosol -- isnt it a abrasive .... sure it looks nice after the polish but would it remove the outer protective coat and subject it to being easily oxidized ........ gosh, my chemistry teacher would have been embarrased

Reminds me of my dealer's advice on the scratching on the shift ring from my tennis bracelets: "take your jewelry off before you drive." WTF? Could you see Mercedes telling some rich snob to take HER diamond tennis bracelets off before she drove her car?
