Shiftkit for the S2000?
Hello,
First off, I am new to the board and I want to say hello. I have been a long time SuperHondaOnline "user" and I have to say that this site is vastly superior, especially in regards to technical information.
Anyway, I want to know if there are any shift kits available for the S2000. I paralyzed my left arm in a motorcycle accident two years ago and I am forced to drive with one arm. My idea is to install a longer shift lever with a 45 degree or so bend so that it will be closer to the steering wheel. I want to add the shift kit to compensate for the longer throws that will result from the longer lever. Like quite a few people here, I am not overly thrilled with my shift action, and I am taking my car to the dealer soon. I figure that would be the ideal time to have the shift kit installed. I am also going to switch to some type of synthetic gear oil, most likely Redline. I used it in my Integra Type R and there was a slight, but noticeable improvement in shift smoothness. Any ideas or information will be greatly appreciated...
Best regards,
Matt

Sorry to hear about you situation, but at least you can enjoy a motorcycle-like car
. To answer you question, a company called C's makes a kit for the S2K. I do not know where to get one, but they are about 450 or so.
Hope this helps
