I was wondering if anyone has put a short shift kit on the S2000. Is it worth it or will it just ruin the fun of driving by making feel like a sequential spot shift?

Don't think there are any short shifters out there.

but, the shift is already damn short... do you feel it's too long for you?

BLADES2K,

Dude, if our shifter was any shorter...the slightest twitch and you might end up in reverse.

switching knobs (shift knobs that is) will get you a much shorter throw... besides that, it would almost be non-existant.

i have shanged the shift knob on my car... it's similar to the voodoo, where it just screws on all the way down (past the nut- after you take it off of course!)... it has actually shortened the throw even more...

i can rest my hand on the rest and just flick my wrist... my hands aren't that big to begin with...

the knob i have looks exactly like the stock one, just the positioning is lower (also without the gears marked on the top)...
