Default Shininess on Top

I've noticed that some parts of my top have a shiny sheen to it, like there's something on there, or like the protection layer has worn away. Has anybody else had this problem, or know what to do about it?

I've been using 303 Convertible top cleaner and 303 Aerospace protectant on it since I've owned it. Thanks

It's actually around where the frame is, like the humps.

I have it too. It does look like the material has lost its layer of protection and it absorbed some gunk. maybe get some cleaner and elbow grease in there?

If it is gunk, what kind of cleaner would be good? I already use 303 convt. cleaner. Also, a rag? a Brush...open for suggestions here. Thx

If it's a wear issue, would that be covered by warranty? As far as I can tell, it shouldn't start to look all crappy after only 2.5 years, and it's not like I've been abusing it?
