I need to ship a tranny. To those that have shipped one before, how did you do it (how did you package, who did you use to ship, etc)?

I use www.freightquotes.com. They are a broker and will quote most major carriers. You just pick one. You will need the weight and size to get a quote. Also you will need a "Class" of the item and you will have to call to get it. But for just a quote, pick one of the numbers.

I have shipped a few hoods, bummpers and a short block.
