Default Short Block

Does the short block from Majestic Honda come with the pistons, crank and everything needed just for a swap with an existing block or is it empty and will need everything installed into it?

Link.
It looks like it comes with everything.

It is a built short block. Just bolt on the head and everything that bolts to the outside and drive.

Get a motor rebuild gasket set while you are there.

Is it better for me to find a replacement engine (had a scored #4 clyinder) or replace the short block. Seems like replacing the short block involves a lot more labor. Since a shop will be doing this for me trying to find the easiest route and most cost effective route.
Also, these short blocks should have the new banjo bolts right?

Thanks

Used engine could mean someone elses problem. Perfect motors don't just drop from the sky, do they? Something happened to the car.

The short block is the way to go. The amount of labor to install a short block or motor is the same give or take. It is just the way the car is put together.

Once you install a short block, the car is as good as new.
