The S shifter is so short already. I drove an Accord last week and it felt like the throw went on forever~! (and I hate to admit this, but I also tried very hard to shift into 6th on its five speed...ground the shft gate into reverse really good..whoops!)

What brand? I hate the look of the Voodoo, it looks out of place in our sleek car, but I like the idea of a lower knob.

Isn't that the truth! If I wanted the "eight ball" look I would have bought a Mustang.

It looks exactly like what has been put in Ferraris for years. I personally would not have anything but a round knob (I was born with a palm that is that shape). Taste is personal, you might try stating your opinion for what it is.. everyone has one if you know what I mean.

Speaking from road-racing experience.
You are more prone to get blisers from a round knob.
Even with gloves, been there, done that.
But then you are shifting all the time.
The best one I have seen(in a racecar) he used a craftsman screwdriver to get the size and shape and made his own.
