I'm very pleased witht the shifter I purchased off of eBay.

I had to remove my RP shifter because of the noise as well. How is the C's style working out for you now that you've had it a while? Also, do you happen to have the part numbers for the OEM pieces you bought? I think that I may follow your lead and give the C's style a try.
