Default Short Tale of a Jerkass

So i park my new car very carefully and anally in a beautiful 80% empty parking structur, one of three empty ones on our office campus. All the people with nice cars park at the back and use 2 spots. My car is covered with the oem cover. One day i only parked about a foot over the line. I go to get something outa the car and find a clean older honda crx parked diaganolly in the remaining space about 3 inches from my drivers door so u can't open it.

After lowering the top and getting into the drivers seat it takes some jockeying to get it out of this spot. There are at least 40-50 empty spaces right next to me. So the next am i see this jerk as i am getting my mtn bike off my jeep and I go over to talk with him. He is a skinny dumb sounding kid of 18-19. I start off calmly asking him why he did that although I would like to rip his face off for starters. Well here's roughly what he said! "Oh you were parked over the line and breaking the law, and I had to punish you" I asked him why he didn't call a cop and then verbally laid in to him as u are free to imagine.
I finished getting my bycycle and headed off to my bldg. Well there he is walking into the lobby, so I start in again in front some of his fellow workers without cursing and with lines like "this guy likes to damage cars in the garage so many people are now looking at this creep just as I am. In a pussyfaced voice he tells me to stop confronting him or he will report me to HR for harassment (thinks I work 4 same Co.) Now I really lay into him and tell him how i am going to lay for him every AM
Well his car is not in this parking structure any more but I will find him again
U know whenever someone does something extremely lame and stupid it seems that u have to believe the
the unbelievable. If this clown had dented my car while parking next to it i'm sure he would've taken off.

The list of excuses I have heard over the years for parking THISCLOSE to my cars is amazing...A lot of "interesting" people out there.

I've never retaliated against anyone for doing what you did but I will say that I find it annoying when people take up multiple spots (although I find it most annoying in crowded parking lots so what you did wouldn't bother me). I prefer to just find a nice end spot where I can maximize the distance between my car and the one next to me without taking up multiple spots.

I usually try to find an end spot with the striped lines next to it and park on the lines. If the lot is totally empty, I do like to take up 2 spots IN THE BACK. I can't stand people who feel the need to take up two spots in the front of a lot, or take up 2 when the lot is crowded. If it's packed, then I only take up one, in the back of course. I once remember seeing a Corvette parked in a pretty crowded lot, not super packed, but pretty crowded taking up 4 spots. Now that is rediculous!!

Be careful, he may decide to take revenge on your S the next time you drive it to work. Maybe better stick to the Jeep for awhile ...

Parking Lot Rage? Come on now, let it die. Sometimes you just have to know when enough is enough.

I agree with Redhead, your car may be in jeopardy of sabotage now.

well i'll probably let it die. I gave him the usual mafia msg about what i would do if my car turns up missing or damaged anywheres else in my lifetime. However this clown is trapped working for a hi-tech company in a lousy economy so he is unfortunately trapped being my neighbor and i don't think will do anything to enrage me! fortunately i have a $100 deductible for comp and collision if it ever came to that. As usual any of u that this might happen to would probably not want to turn the other cheek without having some fun if u were in my shoes.

there have been a NUMBER of times that I've had to get in my car via the passenger side. it doesn't matter how much of a space I do or do not take up, nor does it matter how far out I park... jerkoffs target my car. =/
