Default Should I buy another S2000?

I owned a 2002 S2000 a few years ago, and sold it to buy a G35 coupe. I liked the torque the G had, and I felt that I needed some more room for a DD (I'm also 6'2). Last year I was considering buying another S2000, but I realized with my loan situation it just wouldn't be possible.

Low and behold, a year later I'm considering it again . Basically what I'm asking you guys is for your opinions. I fit in the car fine...at the time I had it I constantly took my guitar places (which barely fit in the S) and I needed a larger trunk. Now I'm more in need of a 4-cylinder, and would love a convertible again.

I've been looking at a few of them for around $10,000-$12,000 with around 60K-90K miles. So with the information given that I want something better on gas, something I could pay off in a year or two and being that I have good general knowledge of the car, do you think I should get another?

Any advice would help

Matt

I think, as a former owner, you already know the answer. Do it.

I don't think you could get a better car for your situation; 10 -12k convertible with a well built 4cyl is some criteria you mentioned. Obviously, all these comments are going to be bias considering we are s2k enthusiasts. Like you said though, you have driven and owned one. Do you think there is something better?

A miata might also fit your needs as far as 4 cylinder convertible, but I don't know how comfortable that is at 6'2".

An S or a Miata would be the obvious choices. What other car have you considered?

How bad is the fuel consumption on the G35? I was thinking about a G or an M in future (as a replacement of an Accord)

Is the mpg rating of an S2000 good enough for you?
