if you can get it for $3-4k, go for it. At such high miles, you can afford to risk it only if the price is right. Are you planning to leave it stock? using it as a DD?

Not a daily driver just a summer weekend car. I would like to add some power maybe an intake. I'm on clublexus.com as jimxo.

What mods are easy to do without breaking the bank?

If you can get it under 8k I would jump on it. Besides, she is your neighbor. I doubt she's trying to screw you over considering you live next door.

I dunno, I would tend to not buy a car from a friend or a neighbor...

Carmax dealers around here are some cheap bastards so you might get it for nothing. They offered me $8,000 for a 07 SI that only had 13,500 miles on it, I sold it for $15,000 the same day.

Buy it, mod it, track it.

That is a good price for $3-4k. But all parts for this car is expensive and don't add much power. i would buy it and keep it stock as a DD if i was u. It is a great fun car stock but if u want power go FI with the s2000 but its not cheap.

For that cheap buy it. But that sounds to good to be true (3-4K) 5-6K is still a deal.
