The list of advantages goes on and on, for both sides, and that's why this has been debated to death.

OP - instead of listening to other people, just go out for a test drive and see for yourself - this decision is completely one of personal preference

 

It comes down to personal sentiment. Try the 07, then wait a while to ponder it.

 

I think you should keep your MY00. You figure you've had it this long, you know everything there is to know about that car. The MY00 is in my opinion the purest of all S2000 since that's what the engineers and designers originally intended the car to be. If you're not having any issues with your car, why get rid of it, just to get the same car but newer?

I think that you will love the AP2. I made the switch and I don't miss my 2000 at all.

 

Since yours is a 00, wasn't it hand assembled then? KEEP IT.
