The door handle idea is a good one... I'd actually want to do it under the door handle.
That's where I meant. Take a look at any car with door handles like ours and you can see lots of little scratches under the handle.

if you dont get it, you wont regret it... untill you get that first rock chip.

if you have th 480 to spare, go for it... if you love your S like most on s2ki do, your heart will be broken when you see that rock chip for the first time

Doesn't this kind of answer your own deal here?

9800 Miles and it's mint. Save the 400+ and enjoy someting else you'll get more out of.

?

Not really... since it's still mint I'd like to keep it that way by protecting it for future occurances. I'm still debating, but leaning more towards yes.

i am for repainting. you can have your bumper repainted like 3 to 4 different times before you reach the grand total of $500 from the prices i am thinking of, and good work too. but i guess it is good to have peace of mind. oh, i know, this is how you can tell if you really want it or not, if you think about it more than 10 times a day, then just buy it and get it over with, like i said there is no price for peace of mind.

For $480 thats not too bad for a full kit installed. Its definitely worth it if you detest chips and scratches on your vehicles. I know I had to do it, my prior car was a prelude and the front end was really sandblasted to hell.

Most of my chips are above the bra line. Would have been a waste.

I've had the Clearbra on now for about 20K miles. I had about 800 miles on the car when I first took it in to get the bra put on. The installer had to fix about 6 or 7 small chips before putting the clearbra on. I've had not chips since. On the Silverstone when you get a rock chip it looks really bad because the underside is black. I also had the headlights and mirrors done. I have had a shot to the windshield that need to be repaired as well. Lots of construction around here so I believe that for me it has been worth it.

nothing can beat a original honda paint job. repainting will never be as good. spend the money and put the clear bra on it. i put mine on a week after i bought MY04 and its perfect. make sure you check out the installers previous work. good luck.
