Damn!! Just found an installed pic of the J's Racing intake. Nothing like a big carbon fiber watermelon under the hood!! The resonance chamber is freaking massive (which theoretically should improve throttle response).

Doesn't it look like the J's CAI will reduce air flow to the radiator by a large margin (~20%)?

I have read that the pinch in the piping reduces any possible gains. Look at how thin the extension has to be to fit under the hood.
Yeah but you gain with the ram air effects at speed and bogging in traffic is reduced. This is a knockoff of the Spoon design and Prolene has reported good results with the Spoon intake.

I think someone has dynoed a Spoon intake and it did show lower numbers, but it was on the order of a few hp which could be anything.

flyellow....what are you using around the horn part of the intake? Is that just more hose, or loom, or what?
