I like to think that my car is 'go' with 'bling' but the reality is that different different people have different opinions.

For bling I got Mugen and for go I got comptech

My reaction exactly. When/if I do mod, it'll be FI, gears, etc.--stuff that doesn't show from outside. Besides, wash & wax supplies (done right ) can wind up costing more than body parts!

Too true. I think my car may be the only car to ever win first place at a major national show with a completely stock body, stock wheels and tires, and stock paint. The only reason I've been able to win against cars with exterior mods is because when we arrive at a show the car is so clean that it looks like new or better. Keeping it that clean and dent free sure as heck hasn't been cheap.

How many times have you taken your car to the track and ran it until you roasted your brake pads? If never then you are all show.
I've set my brakes on fire 3 times. I don't think that anyone on these boards would say that my car was all show

Less than 10% claiming all show? I'm surprised, I would have thought like 30%.

Go, go, go!

Yet when I got the car, I spent a bit of money on interior comfort parts, now I don't really care how dirty my wheels get, and I've upgraded the brakes to be track-worthy.

Although now I've got a track car and I really enjoy driving the S2000 in the flowing curves of the south of France instead.
