Default Si or AP1?

Hey guys/girls, I'm trying to decide what I should get. The Si is brand new costs 23,495, while the s2000 is 15,000 with 51k miles. It's really hard for me to decide, 2 seater sports car or Si sedan? Oh yeah, I'm 17.

of course were going to say s2000 since this is an s2000 forum, you need an unbiased answer.

Have you checked insurance prices? I would imagine they will be ridiculous on the s2000.

forget insurance! forget the price! go with a newer ap2!!

seriously... opinions here will be biased, of course we're gonna say s2000!

i said it before, and i'll say it again: since you came to the s2000 forum to ask people which car you should get, the s2000, or car X (in this case the Si) you are showing that you have an inclination to get the s2000 and you're asking for positive reinforcement to your inclination so you could justify your decision... that is unless you also posted in a civic forum...

i personally test drove a civic Si. IMHO it sucks after the 3rd gear. dont get it.

Get an S2000. Appreciate the top down and the 9k redline. If your good at legos, you can stuff a lot of stuff inside the trunk. Plus the one you are looking at is cheaper.

I got the s2000 at age 17. why would you even consider a civic? There are no regrets with the s2000. Just you and your girl is all you need to fit in it.

well being 17.... you're probably still in high school...and got plenty of friends who need rides...

getting the s2 you can easily ditch having to give free rides...
i used to drive friends around all the time back in high school...
the car gets dirty fast....

it also depends on what you are looking for....

Speed, Style, P****!?

I really am inclined to get the s2000, its just I feel spoiled if I do get one. I think everybody is going to call me a spoiled b****, and other bad things. My friends ask why would I need an s2000, and give me reasons to not get it.

That is cause they are jelous.

Get the car you want, sometimes you need to get options and others point of view, but the choice is yours, and yours alone.

I think the above responses cover most of the things to look at to help make you choice.
